Who We Are
YaoWen is a cultural and lifestyle service for I Ching, Liuyao, BaZi, zodiac, and Chinese metaphysics exploration. The service is operated by YaoWen. You can contact us at yaowen_ai@163.com.
Data We Collect
Contact Information
We may collect your email address for account login, account recovery, service messages, and security. If you choose to provide a name or nickname, we store it as part of your profile.
Profile and Metaphysics Information
You may optionally provide birth date and birth hour information. We use this to calculate zodiac and BaZi profile fields inside the app.
User Content
We store divination questions, saved hexagram cases, notes, selected categories, and AI reading results so you can review your archive later.
Identifiers
We use internal account identifiers and Apple Sign in identifiers to operate accounts, sessions, purchases, and saved content.
Purchases
If you buy Spirit Jade through Apple In-App Purchase, we store purchase records, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, and wallet transactions. We do not receive your card number or Apple payment credentials.
Diagnostics
We may receive basic technical logs needed to maintain the service, investigate errors, and protect the platform.
How We Use Data
- Provide account login, authentication, and account management.
- Generate and save Liuyao divination charts, AI readings, BaZi fields, and personal archives.
- Operate Spirit Jade balances, purchase verification, and wallet transaction history.
- Respond to support requests and investigate abuse, fraud, or service errors.
- Improve reliability, security, and core app functionality.
AI Processing
When you request an AI reading, the question, chart information, and relevant context may be sent to an AI service provider to generate the response. We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal data for readings. You should not enter medical, legal, financial, or other highly sensitive information into divination questions.
Payments
iOS purchases are processed by Apple In-App Purchase. We receive transaction information needed to verify purchases and credit Spirit Jade. We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or Apple payment credentials.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate authentication, cloud hosting, email delivery, payment verification, analytics, security, or AI reading generation. These providers process data only for app functionality and service operations.
Tracking and Advertising
YaoWen does not use collected data to track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising. We do not use third-party advertising identifiers in the iOS app.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep account, wallet, purchase, and archive records for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and protect against fraud or abuse. You may request account deletion or data assistance by contacting support.
Children
YaoWen is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will review the request.
